It is so sad to note that some people cannot just let someone love them. They have been abused so many times that any relationship they get into they are not ready to let go and let the person love them. All they want to do is hide within themselves and when they become lonely and decide to get into a relationship, they cannot afford to love the person as they deserve to be loved. You might say they are better off staying out of the dating world but that is not right. Everyone deserves to be loved; no one deserves to be treated in a bad way. The reason they are so afraid of loving again is because in their previous relationship someone damaged their heart. They no longer feel free to love someone just incase the person abused their love again. Instead of you judging them why don't you tell them the magic word: Let me love you.

Before you can say let me love you to a person you have to find out why the person cannot let you come any where near him or her. It could be something that happened to him or her in a previous relationship that affected them so much. This ghost needs to be set free before you can love the person. You must admit that it is hard to love someone who has a past they cannot share with you. No matter how hard you try to extract the truth from them, all they will do is brush you aside or change the topic and behave like you never asked them that question in the first place.

Try as much as you can to reassure the person you want to love that it is okay and that you are an okay guy. Tell them that you are serious about loving them and that you will try as hard as you can not to break their heart or hurt them. You have to be very realistic. Remember where love is concerned it is hard to come out without a few bruises and burns here and there. Tell them that of course they will get hurt a little once in a while, especially when you disagree on something but that you will be able to resolve all the issues together. Keep saying let me love you to the person.

Unless someone allows another person to love them they cannot have the full benefits of experiencing the full love of people. The person who has been hurt before has to allow the other person to love them unconditionally. Until he or she sets his or her heart out and accept that love is not perfect, yes it hurts and sometimes it hurts more than you can take it but for someone to love you as you deserve you have to let them come into your life. Ask the person as nicely as you can to let go of old heart breaks and to know that people are different and that they should trust you enough to know you are never going to hurt them. Let me love you is one thing you should try to tell a mate who cannot trust you enough to allow you in their lives.
