When we are looking for love, we have a tendency to stay in our comfort zone in terms of our affluence, attractiveness and intellect. On a scale from one to ten, we tend to stay within 2 points of where we interpret ourselves on that scale for who we try and get together with. Obviously, as much as we would want to have a mate that is a "ten" in terms of beauty and wealth, we don't want to get rejected thinking that we may not be good enough. If we think we are a "5" then we will gravitate towards mates that we feel equal with, because we think we will have a better shot. All this sounds normal and understandable. Except what we think of ourselves is truly just a mindset.

In one study I read, a random group of people were told they would be judged by a "panel of experts" in their attractiveness on a scale of one to ten. Except they were lied to as a test. Obviously beautiful people were told they were a "3-5" and some not-so-attractive people were told they were "8-10." This changed the mindset of the people so drastically that at a singles mingle held at the same testing facility, the not-so-attractives started talking and asking out the more beautiful men and women. By just what they had been told, their confidence totally changed, and they thought of themselves as more attractive. This changed their perception as to who was "worthy" enough to be with them, and they went after previously unobtainable people.

Just by what they were told...think about that. What have you been told all of your life? Have you lived a lifetime under someone else's judgment and pretense? It's not our peers, family or even strangers duty to set our "number." We can be anything in the world we want to be or as attractive as we believe. Belief creates reality, reality cements confidence, and confidence manifests BIG attraction. You are NOT stamped on the head with a number. You are not a "1 - 10" or anything else society would have you believe. The pecking order does not exist. You are what you believe you are and if you truly believe it, everyone else will believe it as well. Every relationship guru will tell you that confidence is attractive. But where do you magically get this confidence?

Confidence is discovered by knowing our true selves. The confidence is always inside of you, it is hidden by negative thoughts about yourself, instilled by others. And you believed it. It's time to believe what is true... you are a "ten." You are perfect and always have been. We all are "tens" and we were all born naked and hungry. No one is more or less perfect than anyone else. Our belief in who we are can elate us or enslave us. Being the best that you can be everyday ensures that you are living life to the fullest, creating happiness and knowing the real you.
