What It Means to Be a Woman.

The times have changed drastically in the past few years. More and more women are stepping up to the plate and taking charge in an otherwise "man's world".

But have you ever stopped to consider just exactly how valuable our women are these days? Think about it, and try to understand the many roles women play.

When a woman chooses to get married, she assumes a position in her relationship that most men would shy away from. She is expected to know how to cook delicious meals daily, and keep her house looking like it came out of a magazine. Let's not forget the fact that the woman not only carries and nurtures the child in her womb for nine months, but also labors and delivers the baby in the end. Not exactly a walk through the park, you know. And, if the couple have children, then there are more jobs added to her already hectic lifestyle. Now she must clean more than double the mess, and feed more people, and clothe them, all on a budget. Then there is the driving like it's the Indy 500 to get her child to school/ practice/ recitals etc.

If a woman becomes a single parent for whatever reason, she must deal with the stress not only for herself, (how can you do all of this alone, etc) but for her child as well, (Why don't you have a daddy, where is your father, etc). A single parent has more on her emotional plate, but a strong woman can handle these demands placed on her.

Women play the role of doctor, for all the scrapes and bruises. She will play the part of a lawyer, when the sibling rivalry kicks up a fuss. A woman must be a seductress when it comes to her relationship. Sometimes it's hard to be sexy after a day of cooking, cleaning, and dealing with a baby that has colic, but still she manages.

All of these roles are demanding in their own way, but some women manage a career as well as all these wonderful jobs she already tackles. Years ago, a woman working outside the house was unheard of. Men were the sole bread winners, and women were to stay at home, rearing children and keeping her man happy on the home front. Not any more. Now, there are more stay at home fathers, and more working women.

Women with these types of lifestyles don't have the luxury of a day off. No vacation time, and definitely no sick days. The pay is very low, but the rewards are very great. A woman with a sense of pride, and a sense of accomplishment is a beautiful sight to see. A woman can handle many demands placed upon her shoulders with style and grace. A woman can rise up triumphant against the stereotypes made from years before. A woman can survive childbirth, menstrual cycles and hormones that go all wonky.

And they say women are the weaker sex. Understanding these things will help you become a hit with women and attract and keep the woman of your dreams.
